Do you have experience operating a commercial baler? This job is for you! We’re hiring Baling Operators for our premier client who specializes in high-quality printing and converting envelopes in Richmond, VA. 

As a Bailing Operator, you will execute all paper scrap collection and bale room processes. This includes delivering and collecting all raw materials and finished goods on the production floor under the direction of a supervisor.

Job Title: Baling Operators

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour with Weekly Pay

Schedule (Days and Time): 12-hour shifts (7:00am-7:00pm)

**Rotating days off**

Our Baling Operators will:

Sort and load paper scrap into the baling machine from rolling cages.

Operate automatic and manual baling machines using established guidelines. 

Execute safely all paper scrap collection and bale room processes.

Operate industrial forklift transporting scrap paper cages and bales. 

Read the scale to verify the weight of the bales.

Identify and record the specific material grade and weight of each bale. 

Load trucks correctly maximizing weight limitations.

Guarantee baler room, baling machines, and designated recycling storage areas within the plant are clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 6 months of experience operating a commercial baler.

Previous adherence to safety requirements, no past incidents.

Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to execute the responsibilities of this position following company safety policies and company procedures lawfully and ethically.

Ability to document with accountability.
